About ESA Markets

An independent broker built for international energy markets.

ESA Markets is a commercial intermediary that connects qualified buyers with suitable sellers and suppliers of crude oil and refined petroleum products. Our work is defined by a single principle: we introduce, coordinate and support — we do not own or sell the product.

Who we are

ESA Markets is an independent international energy brokerage and commercial intermediary. We operate at the point where a genuine buyer requirement meets a credible supply opportunity, facilitating professional introductions between parties who may wish to transact. Our value is in access, coordination and clarity — not in holding inventory or title.

We work with a range of counterparties across international markets, including procurement teams, trading desks, suppliers and their authorised representatives. Each engagement is approached individually, with attention to the specific requirement and the commercial context around it.

Our role as an independent energy broker

As a broker and intermediary, ESA Markets introduces qualified counterparties and supports the commercial communication between them. We are not a refinery, producer, titleholder, storage operator or logistics company, and we do not act as principal in the underlying transaction. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, ESA Markets is not a party to any sale or purchase contract concluded between introduced counterparties.

This independence is deliberate. It allows us to focus entirely on making relevant, well-considered introductions and on coordinating clear communication, while the contracting parties retain full control of their negotiations, terms and decisions.

Our mission

To make international energy markets more navigable for serious participants by connecting qualified buyers and suppliers efficiently, discreetly and professionally — and by being unambiguous about the boundaries of our role at every stage.

Our approach to connecting qualified counterparties

We begin with a clear understanding of the requirement: the product, the parameters, the objectives and the commercial context. We then consider whether there are suitable potential counterparties within our network whose parameters may align. Where an introduction appears appropriate, we facilitate it and support the ensuing communication and coordination between the relevant parties.

Due diligence, verification, negotiation and contracting remain the responsibility of the parties themselves. Our contribution is to bring the right parties into contact and to keep communication organised and professional.

How we work

Professionalism

Considered, measured conduct in every interaction, with realistic expectations and no exaggerated claims.

Confidentiality

Business discussions and shared information are handled with discretion and appropriate care.

Transparency

We are clear about what we do, what we do not do, and where responsibility sits between the parties.

Commercial coordination

We keep communication structured so that introduced parties can progress efficiently.

What ESA Markets is not. ESA Markets does not own, produce, refine, store, or transport crude oil or refined petroleum products, and does not sell products directly, unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement. ESA Markets does not guarantee product availability, price, specification, counterparty performance or transaction completion. ESA Markets is a facilitator of introductions and commercial opportunities only.
