Crude oil brokerage: common questions
Do you broker both crude oil and refined products?
Yes. We work on crude grades as well as refined products such as diesel, jet fuel, gasoil and fuel oil, on spot and term contracts.
How do you verify counterparties?
We review company registration, ownership, authorised signatories, source of funds and sanctions exposure, and we ask for proof of product or proof of funds appropriate to the deal before terms are exchanged.
Which delivery terms do you support?
We structure deals on standard commercial terms such as FOB and CIF, depending on the load port, discharge port and the parties' preference.
Do you charge a fee to start?
No. Our commission is agreed in writing before we make introductions and is payable on completed transactions.
Have a cargo to place or a barrel to source?
Send a short brief. We reply by email and, where a deal is viable, begin verification on both sides.
